Unmatched Experience
Public Health
During my tenure as a Public Health Nurse with the Victorian Department of Health, I took on the responsibility of revising and reformatting digital health information materials and website content for critical diseases like Whooping Cough, Legionnaires Disease, and Invasive Meningococcal Disease. This included creating clinician guidelines and consumer fact sheets, ensuring that healthcare professionals and the public had access to clear and accurate information.
Government
On a national level, as a contributing working group member of the Invasive Meningococcal Disease CDNA National Guidelines for Public Health Units, I played a crucial role in shaping national guidelines that would impact the health and well-being of communities across Australia. By translating these guidelines into practice, I provided essential advice and support to clinicians and consumers, helping them make informed decisions about their health.
Indigenous Health
As a Quality Improvement Consultant specialising in Aboriginal Medical Services, and with a proven track record in project management, I have consistently demonstrated my ability to expertly guide and prepare remotely-located healthcare organisations to achieve accreditation with success.
Health Research
My role as a Nurse Researcher with Gold Coast Health allowed me to contribute to important research studies on end-of-life and dementia care. Through my writing and research, I sought to improve healthcare practices and patient outcomes, contributing to advancements in the field.
